ALKALMAZÁS

Alkalmazható-e a mikrocement kültéren?

Igen, a CimentArt bármely terméke alkalmazható kültéren, falakon, mennyezeteken és padlókon egyaránt.

Kivételt képeznek az alacsony hőmérsékletű területek, különösen télen, illetve ahol a hó több napig megmarad (pl. fedetlen teraszok). Ilyen esetekben nem ajánlott, mert az aljzat tágulhat és zsugorodhat, repedések keletkezhetnek, valamint a poliuretán védőréteg is károsodhat.

Alkalmazható-e mikrocement konyhai munkalapon?

Igen. Fontos, hogy az aljzat teljesen vízálló legyen. Ha több lapból áll, a köztük lévő illesztés nem mozoghat.

Márvány, gránit, kő vagy téglából és cementből készült alap is használható.

Ne helyezzen forró edényt közvetlenül rá, és ne vágjon rajta késsel.

Microcement guarantees

Cimentart declares that its microcement is guaranteed in the following situations:

Provided that the application standards are complied with and its technical data sheets are followed to the letter:

  • Non-cracking guarantee. CimentArt Microcement never cracks. if any crack appears on our microcement it will always be that the support where it is applied has cracked or has fissured.
  • Adherence guarantee. We guarantee that Cimentart microcement does not peel or flake off the support where it is applied.
  • Guarantee of non-de-toning. We guarantee that the microcement does not have any apparent discolouration or changes in colour over time, even if it is applied outdoors.
  • Manufacturing guarantee: Cimentart as a manufacturer offers a one-year guarantee on all its products, as long as they are unopened and stored in an environment without major changes in temperature and ventilation.
  • Application warranty: the company that carries out the application is responsible for providing the end customer with the warranty. These guarantees are governed and based on the legislation of the European standards on decorative coatings and have a duration of two years.
  • Guarantee of the transport of the product: CimentArt contracts external transport companies and includes in this contracting an insurance for each shipment. In the same moment that our products go out in shipment for the client the responsibility of the products acquired and sent happens to be of the company of transport and of the final client. Once received the products in the address of the final customer, the final customer is responsible for verifying at that moment that the shipment is in accordance with the invoice and order placed with CimentArt.

This warranty does not cover structural movements or settlement of the building or housing that cause cracks, peeling or chipping of supports where it is applied, or blows, floods or scratches received on its surface.

Differences between microcement and Venetian stucco

Microcement and Venetian stucco are products that have their similarities when seen from a distance, but they are really very different from each other.

Venetian stucco is a product made from putty (calcium carbonate) and is mixed with water. Due to the hardness of this material, it is only applied on walls, it can never be applied on floors. Venetian stucco is not a suitable product to be applied in kitchens, bathrooms, showers or outdoors, because it is not waterproof.

Microcement is a product that due to its hardness (it is composed of cement and selected minerals mixed with resin, not water) can be applied both on walls and floors and in areas that receive water such as bathrooms, kitchens and outdoor terraces. This means that they are very different products and cannot be compared.

Can microcement be applied on substrates with capillary humidity?

Do you have capillary humidity and want to apply microcement?

Tienes humedad capilar? El microcemento no se debe aplicar nunca en soportes que tengan humedad capilar, ya que esta terminado con un barniz de poliuretano que lo hace impermeable, pero también no transpirable.

Si el microcemento es aplicado sobre soportes de cemento o yeso que tienen este problema, pueden salir manchas más oscuras debido a esa humedad ascendente y con el tiempo que se deteriore el microcemento.

Si aplica microcemento sobre paredes revestidas con azulejos o en pavimentos con baldosas cerámicas que tienen humedad capilar, con el tiempo pueden marcarse las juntas en dichos azulejos o baldosas.

Nuestro consejo si desea hacer una aplicación de microcemento CimentArt y tiene este problema en el suelo o en las paredes es que aplique previamente CimentArt Dry con un espesor mínimo de medio centímetro. CimentArt Dry es un mortero impermeabilizante que es usado para cortar la humedad capilar y también para el enlucido de depósitos de agua o jardineras. Después de la aplicación de Cimentart Dry puede comenzar la aplicación del microcemento y esa humedad por capilaridad no traspasa.

Sabemos de algunos casos de algunos aplicadores que sobre pavimentos con baldosas que tenían humedad capilar, primero taparon o rellenaron bien todas las juntas entre baldosas y después aplicaron dos capas de epoxi de dos componentes y eso ayudo a parar la humedad ascendente y una vez completamente secas estas capas, aplicaron nuestro microcemento siguiendo nuestros métodos de trabajo con buenos resultados.

State of the supports where the microcement is applied

The support where you are going to apply microcement, whether absorbent or non-absorbent, whether in a new construction or renovation, must be in perfect condition, dry, with hardness, without movement or expansion and without parts that are detached or deteriorated.

On a cement plaster, concrete or plaster must have passed at least three weeks before the application of microcement, so that the support has set and completely expelled its internal moisture.

If you are going to apply microcement on ceramic tiles, they must be completely glued. If they sound hollow when touched, they should be removed and the microcement applied on the substrate below. If any tile is poorly placed this must be removed and filled with cement mortar.

If you are going to apply the microcement on paint it must be perfect in perfect condition, without chipping or parts that are easily removed.

If where you are going to apply the microcement there is capillary humidity, this has to be previously treated with the waterproofing mortar CimentArt Dry. For more information on this product see here.
